Caption in The FFA at 50: In the 1920's when vocational agriculture students first came to Kansas City to participate in livestock judging, they formed a loosely knit organization called the National Congress of Vocational Agriculture Students. The National FFA Organization formed in 1928 was an outgrowth of the National Congress.
