IUPUI 40th Anniversary

In 2009, the 40th Anniversary was celebrated during the middle of Chancellor Bantz's tenure. IUPUI's 40th Anniversary saw an increase in students living on campus instead of commuting for classes and an increase in community civic engagment. Every school was finally incorporated into IUPUI's campus which completed the vision that had been set in 1969. The main changes to campus by the time of the 40th anniversary were the dedication of University Library in 1994 and the opening of the Campus Center in 2008, which allowed students a place to eat, study, and hang out.
